High-Dose Rate (HDR) Radiation Therapy
HDR brachytherapy delivers a concentrated dose of radiation in 10 to 20 minutes -- and unlike traditional seed implants, the radioactive source does not stay in the body.
Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)
Image-Guided Radiation Therapy uses real-time imaging at every session to confirm the radiation dose is going exactly where it should.
Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy shapes the radiation dose around your tumor in three dimensions, sparing more of the healthy tissue around it.
Leipzig & Valencia Applicators
HDR surface applicators for basal and squamous skin cancers -- no surgery, no scar, treatment complete in about two weeks.
MammoSite Breast Cancer Treatment
Five-day balloon-catheter breast brachytherapy after lumpectomy -- versus seven weeks of daily traditional radiation. No hospitalization.
Prostate Seed Implants
A focused prostate cancer treatment delivered in a single outpatient procedure -- with a fraction of the appointments external beam radiation requires.
Brachytherapy
Internal radiation therapy that places a radioactive source directly inside or next to the tumor -- high local dose, low collateral exposure.
Contura by SenoRx
Multi-lumen breast brachytherapy for women whose lumpectomy cavity isn't a fit for the standard MammoSite balloon.
CyberKnife Radiosurgery

As our Founding Physician, John is a Board-certified radiation oncologist with more than 4,000 prostate seed implant procedures.
Randy Kahn, M.D., F.A.C.R.O.
Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Radiation Oncology. Practicing in Tampa Bay since 1990.

Four decades of academic and clinical radiation oncology experience, including senior leadership.
John M. Koval, M.D.
Board-certified radiation oncologist with deep expertise in high- and low-dose-rate brachytherapy, MammoSite.
